I wasn't going to enter this challenge because my 300D was in the repair shop for dust removal, but I was really tempted to shoot it with my Sony Mavica.

This was taken at my University, which has the most beautiful minarets I've ever seen. The whole building is a National Historic Landmark built in 1891.

Edits:
Cloned out a building, an electric pole, and some dirt on the windows.

Very nice the way you aligned this.

This is beautiful. I gave it a ten because I like the focus, the color, the shape of the window (or should I say windows?) and the crescent moon in the top center. The only thing that bothers me is that the crescent is not competely dead center. Still this rates a 10.

This is a good picture, regardless of your religious persuasion.

I really like this, I think it's my fav of the challenge. I like the framing of the window, the unusual panes adds interest too. The view is great, and compositionally with foreground/background elements it really connects. The toning is great too. Not a thing I would change!

Beautiful window. I like it how the top of the building outsite fits perfectly in the circle. The tone in the picture is good and contrast as well.

Wonderful balance, patterns, use of sepia, everything works. - 9

Nice shot, well composed. I wish the conical thing below the crescent was more centred though. Great exposure, especially the trees. This is what makes the shot so striking for me. I would have liked more sharpness, maybe with soft focus added after having sharpened.

This is a very interesting and compelling photograph. I love the tones of the view outdoors, but it's a bit dark and hard to tell what the structure is exactly. The silhouetted frame of the door/window is also very interesting. I think this is a special photograph.

Seems slightly tilted. I would have gotten rid of the light on the sides all together. The composition here is fantastic. You have a great eye. I don't care for the sepia in this image, it does nothing for me. 8

Reminiscent of something, though i can't recall what. Brian Harris perhaps. Love the tones around the curves of the minaret, particularly, and of course the framing of the crescent.

the window makes an intricate and interesting silhouette, and the crescent is nicely framed. (7)

Nicely done. I see some reflections (2nd and 3rd row) but nothing really noticeable. Well done! 9

There are a few artifacts, and I wonder why this isn't color, but this is great composition. -7
