I think her face is nicely exposed. I wish there was some definition around the edge of her scarf to separate it from the b/g. I like the expression.

Now that's a photo with contrast, and a fantastic subject that really comes across. Hope you explain how you did this. Certainly the best picture I have seen so far (half way marking), very good luck with this.

really beautiful detail in a high-contrast image :) nicely done; and the expression is one that makes me want to know more of the 'story' behind the photo; the border is great because it keeps my eyes from goign outside of the frame... and overall its a lovely image :) (9)

Whoa. Strong, but would prefer to see a tiny bit of highlight detail. Do you have a less contrasty original?
