I love the simplicity of this shot. Had to give it a ten!

Simple and direct. Love the gradient of the background.

Really nice colors and good lighting.

I like the repeating pattern

Nice, tidy, and very pleasing to my eye.

Wonderfully colorfully done. I wish they were more centered in the frame... or even less centered, so it doesn't seem like an accident. Perhaps a bit of crop off the right to match the space on the left?
It's a solid nine as it is, though. I like it.

This is a good clean shot with a simple yet effective layout. The different colours add visual interest and I can tell you have an eye for details as even the markings on the test tubes are uniform :) The decision not to include the bottom of the test tubes could be seen as a bit of a gamble but I think it works for this shot as its all straight lines and uniform precision. Can't really fault anything here except that it leaves me a bit hungry and wanting a bit more to be going on. 8 from me.

It's a nice picture. Slightly boring, but nice none the less.

Without fault! Well done.

not the most original idea, but quite well executed. lighting of background could be improved

nice use of repeating shapes and colors to meet the challenge - i am generally not a big fan of colored water for chemistry and science type shots - but it fits here and is well delivered

nice balanced shot

Love the simplicity and the attention to detail - how the writing on the test tubes is lined up so they're all facing the same way.

nice color - some white spots or dust here and there - 7

did you try some different arrangements or angles?
06/11/2008 02:52:01 PM
love the colors

Well the colors are really nice and crisp I think I would like to see a cleaner and whiter background to make this pop even more.

But great work.

I love the colours you have managed to capture in this picture. Only negative commet is that you could/should have dusted the tubes before you pressed the shutter release.

nice and clear...dust or little bubbles are a little distracting...good overall 7

This might do very well, DPCers like images of this kind. I find it nice, but also a bit boring...
