Nice example of wheel, nice example of recycling. I like the way the light shines on the water also. The border does not really add or detract from the pic. 7

might have been good for the silhouette theme!

This is cool sculpture! Interesting and creative idea. Would be nice to see it in day light also later on.

nice subject; interesting title...
but it's a bit too dark... and too unabalanced...

Nice composition. The glare of the sun in the clouds appears to be saturated, somewhat distracting. The same photo from an angle to exclude the sun might improve the overall image, but the reflection on the water is great. Not an easy subject!

Too dark, taking the photo with the sun on the other side of the sky would have worked better.

Beautiful shot and great subject. (I'm not marking it down but I dont like the choice of blue for the border colour....just my opinion)

I dont think photographing artwork is allowed.. for future reference :-) I hope this photo isn't disqualified, I really like the exposure and silhouetting.

I think the photo should have been taken closer to have more impact. At the moment there is too much background and not enough of the subject to grab your attention. It is an interesting looking sculpture but I hope to see it a bit clearer.

Top part of the silhouette looks good, but as you go down, it begins to get jumbled and lost in the trees in the background.

Too dark, it has interesting massing but I can see no detail in the subject and the sky isn't so glorious that it was worth the tradeoff.

I find that silhouettes work well with simple shapes where the outline is key and the lighting method adds some drama to the photo. In this case, however, I feel that the sculpture has an element of depth that is lost by using this method. Given its complexity, I think that using front lighting would have given clues to where everything fits together in the sculpture. Then again, I am an engineer, not an artist, so how I look at this may be biased by my own interests. On a brighter note, the sky looks spectacular and the texture of the water is very well captured. If the subject was less intricate, it would have been perfect.

Great atmosphere and colors. I also like the composition with the trees to the right and the sunlit spot. Is this by Tinguely?
