I shot this in the ruins of an old railway that used to run through Puerto Rico. The train has long since been abandoned, and is being devoured by wildlife. The tree in the back i thought was nice too.

I shot it on, my Nikon Coolpix 2000, automatic settings, with my white balance set at Cloudy. All i did i n Post was Crop, Curves, Brightness/Contrast, and a Red Photo Filter.

A nice piece of industrial dereliction. The colours seem to be very strong. The greens and especially the rust, but in intense light, that happens sometimes.

Difficult to make out the wheel in this shot.

A bit too uch contrast to me.
04/08/2004 11:55:15 PM
the contrast is too high...
and the subject is so consumed by nature that one can barely find it in the shot... :(
unbalanced shot

Seems overprocessed, that means you seem to have increased the contrast and/or colorsaturation to much. Othervise the subject and other parts of the image seems interesting.

Way oversaturated colors.

Colors seem unnatural to me. Contrast also seems to be boosted too much.

It looks as if the colors were 'pushed' a little too much.

Came from a soft b/w shot into this one, and ouch.. Nice dramatic shot, just too much color/contrast, even after adjusting my eyes to it, making it an effort to sort things out. Still - a nice dramatic shot.

Rich color and good texture. I feel the subject just isn't there.

Very much too much contrast and over saturated. A little on the dark side as well.
