Great Photo! Sorry about your "lost love," but at least you have a song to sing now, "I'm lea-vin' on a hydroplane! Don't know when I'll be back again!" :}

I'm sorry if that seems flippant. It's just that the juxtaposition of the boat with the wake trail that "touches" the nose looks funny to me! (I hope that's understandable...) :)

I dig the sepia, it seems appropriate. Also, nice use of negative space. The title adds to it.

the wake left behind by the boat looks like its comiong from the guy's nose. it detracts from this shot a lot.

The wake of the boat looks like its coming out of his nose. I would have waited for the boat to leave or shoot before the boat came into the scene because I would consider it to be a distraction.

Very nice shot like the color contrast but i also like the angle of the image

The lack of contrast in the image doesn't particularly suit the monochrome conversion. Though I like the composition, the concept is a bit clichéd for me.

Very nice idea but having the ship's wake coming out of his nose spoils the effect somewhat.

Like the portrait, hate the title, hate the ship!

I want the ship to be a military naval ship. The longing - for the see - would make more sense to me. The message here just seems to be his girlfriend has gone on holiday! Nice shot though.

The placement of the boats wake is rather unfortunate - almost as though your model is snorting a line of coke... That said, I like the idea of weaving a narrative into your portrait, and your title works well with this.

Really unique shot, it could stand a bit more contrast with the tones, but still a nice shot, 7

Boat appears to be shooting out of his nose.

i like the look of this a lot. how the boat is out of focus, but not too much really makes this nice
