These flowers were carved from soap and yes, they were under glass. It took me ages to decide on the angle, focus and to try to get rid of all the reflection on the glass. Thanks for all your comments. Really helpful! |

Wow, really vivid colors. |

Nice colors! I would have liked it better if the background were more or less in focus. Also, centered a bit more. |

Pretty colors, although as for pertraying curves...hmm. |

I think this angle could have been pulled off a bit better by limiting the depth of field. |

Good idea, but the colors are a bit pale for my taste. |

Flowers appear to be made of wax - excellent work - images could be be sharper but I like it |

Another georgeous picture that screams "color" not "curves". 9 as a photo, 2 as a contest entry. |

Good photograph, but not very appropriate to "curves" |

nice and curvy. Seems a bit on the washed out side as far as contrast goes. |

I love the flowers! I would have liked to have seen the pink one on the bottom too! Or if the subject was the one in the center, it should have been a tighter shot. |

Beautiful! I thought about entering a rose, too, but your photo is much nicer than the one I had. |

Great colors, the reflection in the glass is a little distracting did you shoot it through glass? |

Beatiful pastel colours and vibrant at the same time! |

Shouldn't have had it so centered, it's a little too... Simple, I guess. |

There are a lot of reflections off the glass in this photo and the light on the bottom right hand corner is distracting. I love the idea of the flowers. :) |

Good symmetry, and great colours, but a touch more detail on the petals would set off the blurring effect of the glass. |

way symmetrical and dead-on centered composition yet it works. maybe it's the color. very nice. |

I love pastel colors in your photograph. I think my problem is that I have seen too many flower photograohs this spring. Are these flowers under glass? The reflections on the lower right and upper left are minutely distracting from the subject..... |

I'm not wild about fake flowers, but the colors and focus are good |

looks like it would have been framed better if you'd turned the camera 90 degrees and taken it vertically. Attractive depth of field effect. |
