This was the little miss that I got to eat lunch with today. It was a baaaaaad day for pictures. The Texas sun was bright and uber-harsh today. Buttttt I missed posting yesterday because I am fighting a cold. So, I wanted to get one of my beloved creatures in today in tribute to it being Friday (Yayyy!!!!)

Sometimes, ya just have to shoot in less than perfect conditions :( What can ya do. . . it's Texas for heaven's sake!

I love that wide open space in the foreground and that reflection. Great job considering the shooting conditions.

Great shot! Love the focus and colors as usual! It does feel a bit cut-off at the top though, maybe composing it with the duck at the bottom would have helped, don't know.

I really like this. The soft, subtle tones. The beautiful green of the water compliments the soft yellow duck.

Lovely minimal composition! I like that there's only two colours in this shot! : )

Oh Sandy - this is MAGICAL! I can barely stand it - now what lens is that?

I really like the minimalistic feel here. I think I would have cropped it to where the duck was more towards a corner or on the rule of thirds line, but that's just me.

Nice capture and excellent framing/cropping. This has a softness to it that I like. (I completely sympathize about the sun being too bright. It's slowed me down this week too!)

I really like the simplicity of this one. The crop is a little unusual, but I think very effective. Very nice beautiful overall sense to it.
