The colors make this almost feels like a computer generated shot. The position that you took the shot makes your eyes focus on the dumpster. The brick wall and the flat wall's lines also makes your eyes follow toward the dumpster. The great green color helps with this also. The trash heap at the top seems spotlite has if it was an actor on a stage. This is a great find.

After looking at a few of your photos I noticed that they are a bit over sharpened. If you look at the lines on the walk or really any edge it looks jagged.

We don't have lights on our trash bins.

Some people might disparage you for just 'shooting trash' but these colors are gorgeous! I wish the dumpster were a bit further away from the right edge, and those brights are a wee bit hot for my tastes. :)

i really like this shot. the lighting and colors are awesome. i know people get mad about talking about composition but even though i like this i might have even gone so far as to leave more brick wall at the top to add more depth to the shot and maybe even cropped up to the top edge of the dumpster. but just my opinion, not to be taken to heart! nice job, 9-amitchell

Wonderful focus! The detail in the brick amazes me. And I can read their phone number. lol. Definately garbage, but it looks almost glorified somehow. I think it's the lighting. It's warm tones and the light refecting in the corner of the garbage dumpster. Looks brand new. Nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~hbunch7187~

That's the cleanest garbarge & container and container area I have ever seen. That said, this is a very nice photo. I lile the colors, lighting and exposure. This was a nice change from the sickening photos I've been viewing.

Whoa- i think it's alive! is it grinning or grimaceing? I like this a lot - the colors all go together and the diagonal lines work pretty much, though they lead the eye to the left and the dumpster is about to cruise off the right, see the evil glint in his eye? I wonder what he's got planned.

the reflectors make it look like a good subject for the next Steven King novel 5 Mags Coyote

This dumpster looks too clean! It's the colors in the wall and floor that make me feel this way. Very striking.

I love the way you have captured the light and the colours here. A very (deceptively?) simple shot, but very effective.

What very neat garbage you have found! I like it. I find the starkness of the picture very attractive. Good composition.
