Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination
Silently the senses abandon their defenses

Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendour
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender
Turn your face away from the garish light of day
Turn your thoughts away from cold, unfeeling light
And listen to the music of the night

Close you eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams
purge your thoughts of the life you knew before
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar
And you'll live as you've never lived before

Andrew Lloyd Weber
Phantom of the Opera

I just love how dark and moody this is. This is just fascinating; it appears that it's just a bunch of randomness but the more I look at it the more I see the relationship between the elements woven together. Nice work, Judy.

Love this Andrew Lloyd Weber musical. My groups have performed this song many times, and it's one of my favorites. Your photo so aptly personifies the text with its gently unfurling music moving with the insects of the night. Well done, Judy.

I just love how the sheet music blends into the cobweb and they all become one! Very nice editing!

How beautiful that the musical notes transform into the web... or vice versa, or not at all! I dunno, it's beautiful, subtle and just pleasing.

Oh, Judy! Yes! This is KIIIIIICK BUTT!!!! I love the verse that goes with it so much because I am totally a night owl. I love the moods and feelings of night. This resonates with my soul and makes me want to savor it a little longer!
