 I didn't have anything for today so looked through the pics from yesterday. I realized that I did have something with only natural light. We normally don't see anything like this in the water near the beach so this was a unique opportunity for this type of shot.

Shot was taken 12 minutes after sunset. It amazes me how the crowds leave the minutes the sun goes down, not realizing what will develop in the 30 minutes of so after the sun dips down.

But once that sun goes down it I'll bet it starts getting real cold. Only us crazy photographers will stick around for that. Looks like you're joining karmat in her minimalistic challenge. A beautiful shot in any challenge. Love the colors.

Oh. Oh. Ohhhhhhh! I LOVE this. The simpliciy of just enough to add interest to the expansive water and how it fades and blends into the sunset. This is GORGEOUS!!!!!

Beautiful shot and lovely composition. I'm a morning person, and some of my best shots are taken about fifteen minutes before the sun comes up. This site will print you a calendar for your location (or darn close) showing the three twilights, sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, and the phases of the moon. Very useful. link
