POMT day 4.

This is taken in Parco Massari, at 4 hectares it's the largest park inside the city walls of Ferrara. The park is atypical of the average Italian park as it was bought by Count Massari in the 19th century and redesigned to resemble an English city park. It now has ancient trees, winding lanes, high hedges and (predictably) leaning lampposts.

Sounds like a perfectly lovely place to take photographs. B&w fits this very well. The path carries my eye around the bend and makes me wonder what's ahead.

Your black and white processing really works tremendously with this series. There is something so emotional about this shot and yet I can't put my finger on it.

Definitely has a European feel to it. I love that everyone rides bikes everywhere here. Very nice natural framing with the hedges.

I really like back shots - this is cute, although could be a bit sharper.
