Nice DOf - looks just a tad undersaturated on my monitor - pretty though

I like the pink/red hues in this one, and the water droplets just add to the "freshly planted" idea. I'm not so sure about the border.

I like the detail in the flower, I love seeing the veins and the crisp edges of it. I like your DOF, I think it really adds to the photo. I do think IMO, that there is a bit to much pink with the added boarder :)

Wow! Now that's Pink! That bit of black in the corner helps balance the composition, though I'm afraid the pink border's too much for me. Nice focus and dof.

One of my favourite shrubs - love the intense colour you've captured here. Would prefer not to have the internal pink border so that there is a definite break between the flowers

Oh, Laurie!! This is beautiful! And THIS is something Texas-familiar that I can relate to. Spring. That sea of pink just draws you in and melts your heart.

Loveley pink. The pink border is a nice touch. I also like the shallow DOF because it draws you eye to the main focus.

The petals are very interesting in shape. I like the water drops on them too. Pink has never been a color for me. I would have been real tempted to do some color shifting here for that reason only. But if you like pink, you have a real nice pink tone here.
