What a great perspective. I like how the branches and nest seem to be in focus and the buds are out of focus. The branches lead the eye to the nest nicely. Too bad the building is in the background as I think it takes from the overall picture a bit.

I like the B&W conversion you did here; I think more contrast may have made it into a tangled nest.

Channel mixer layer; I sunk blue and raised red. I was deliberately going for a mid-key sort of shot. I thought it brought out the textures in the nest better. It seemed to keep the focal point there also. Admittedly I didn't spend hours on this. There are a lot of ways I could have processed it, I suppose.

The color didn't really work because all the color was in the background (the building and sky). Also, since I shot in aperture priority (not sure if that was the best choice), the building is more or less in focus. I wanted to keep the nest as the focal point, but it was in the shadows. I used a channel mixer layer to level the playing field, so to speak, and work on some of the textures. Thanks for your comment!

I quite like the juxtaposition of the nest versus the building. Well seen and captured.

Great perspective, though I think the building crowds the shot a little. I'd like to see it further into the lower right hand corner. Great processing. I love the softness of the branches and clouds.

I like the perspective that you have shown in this photo, its nice to see it from a angle less photographed. Great B&W, the petals of the tree must have been beautiful.

Wow the perspective on this image is WILD!

The choice of B&W is clever, otherwise the distraction of colours would have taken away from the impact. It's a bit flat though so perhaps a bit of jiggling with selective colours 'neutral', 'white' & 'black'.

Tomorrow I hope you shoot downwards from the top of the building. Nice find.
