It IS a dog's world, after all. Very funny challenge interpretation. 7, just-married

My insurance went up 50% because my dog insisted that I put her on the policy and teach her to drive...thanks alot! lol

Like this one alot ...does the dog know how to use the mirror...that is he is not looking at the mirror so he does qualify. Also good use of the red jacket gives this pic a good kick....good work

Nice picture.

amusing, but where's the reflections?

On your way to grandma's house?

While this is a really great photo, and I love the dog's face as if it were driving, but ... shoe falling....I think this is a secondary definition of reflection that IMHO pushes the line between creativity and the boundaries set by the challenge. If this were a visual reflection and a reflective concept, you'd win hands down. I am very willing to consider changing my vote. (You also have a mirror in the photo..) Started as an 8, considering the literal/creative differences of opinion, I'll go a 6 as it really is a very well taken photo. (fair?) Swash

Sorry, but I don't see the connection here outside of the title. The only connection to reflections I see here comes from the mirror. Please feel free to let me know if I'm missing something. -ClubJuggle

excellent, hilarious picture that doesn't meet the challenge. who cares? it's funny as all hell.

This looks like a person with the head of a dog. It's great in that respect, and I can't fault the shot – it's actually quite amusing… But, the mirror in the shot voids the challenge aspect; in terms of picture quality it's fine… Sorry to be so negative (3)

I don't think this qualifies but it's hilarious.

You really should get your dog into the vet to get his/her teeth cleaned.

Definitely funny, but there aren't any real reflections in it, except for the rearview mirror, which can't count.
10/01/2002 10:24:00 AM
very cool idea. i don't think people will get it and therefore u know what's gonna happen, so would help u with a good grade just for being funny.

Interesting shot, but I have to ask the question I'm sure you've heard more than once so far this week... Where is the reflection? If I'm missing something, please feel free to enlighten me :) ~ myqyl ~
As I go through my forth (and likely last) look at all the shots, I'm still puzzled here. The only physical reflection is from the mirror, and I don't see thoughtful pondering (another definition of reflection) here either.

On the technical side, the sloped horizon doesn't add much for me. However, this IS certainly a clever, cute shot.

Amusing photo, but I guess I'm missing the relevance to the challenge.

Very nice indeed, although I am a dog photographer...Good Luck.

It's a clever shot, but I don't see a "without mirrors" reflection...
09/30/2002 08:35:00 PM
I'm a bit confused on this one meeting the challenge? I see the obvious reflection in the mirror, but there is really nothing to that reflection? I don't know if it's a non-literal translation of reflections (looking back on something) but, I don't see how the dog fits in. I hate to score it this low, but I don't feel that it met the challenge. Sorry- 3 - JB

interesting perspective. it's funny how the dogs head looks like it's on the drivers body. there is a reflection in the rear view mirror, but other than that, I dont see one. I am assuming that the "reflection" is more of a mental reflection rather than a physical reflection. Your focus is ok, black fur is really hard to shoot. there is little distinction between his fir and his eye. overall, this is a neat idea. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~
