Oh, Sally! This is a great photo! I had a feeling this would be a "star". Congrats and keep shooting. Don't give up. You are a great photographer no matter what this site tells you! I've long moved on from trying to win ribbons or please people here to taking photos for the pure joy of it. The talent on this site is amazing and we can all learn from it, but ultimately it should be you who your pictures please the most. Cheers! Nells

How positively delightful, from his rather concerned expression and precarious position to the yellow petals that look like they've been tipped with lavendar frosting. Excellent photograph and congratulations on a well deserved ribbon!

I was eating my breakfast whilst going through voting and my jaw involuntarily stopped... I think that is all i really need to say!

The colour balance seems too cold, could do with warming up. The contrast of the green frog and the yellow and purple flower is very nice.

The color contrast in this picture is very effective and the expression of the frog is great! The way how he holds himself steady is amazing. Great capture!

Wow this looks almost cartoon-like. Fantastic capture. 10 and faved.

Wow, excellent macro. Lighting, DoF, subject matter all there. Should finish nicely, a ribbon or top 10. Good luck.

how could this be anything other than a 10. the warmth from the stamins (sp) going into the cool purple is so eyecatching, even standing alone this lily was perfect. but then throw in a frog, who has clarity, crisp clean and so green. his little fingers holding onto the delicate petals just reek of gentleness. Well done on such an amazing capture
