 Thank you for your comments. Its quite dark in the meat market...next I'll set to a higher ISO and see what happens. The light coming off pf him might be because of my lens which is cracked and refracts light sometimes... I don't have another... : (

Oh this makes me laugh... my father is a butcher :) Wonderful processing, great expression, the pose just seals the deal. Of course I love it. But my dad does look quite a bit different, and I might add, amazingly enough, more scary! (it's true! lol!)

Very interesting and well balanced. There's a lot going on, but it doesn't seem cluttered. You've created a nice centralized flow for the viewer. I'm also a sucker for muted colors like these, and there's great contrast balance.

As commentary, that butcher scares the crap out of me, heh.

Very interesting picture - I like the lighting here - the brightly lit meat on the left and the darkeness to the right really works for me and esp. the way your subject is illuminated....lover to know you got this exposure and effect...

What a find! I wish you had a bit more light in the shadows of his face, but his is a great entry, the limited color palate helps the feel.

nice and gritty, great capture. Some knits to pick: looks a little pixelated or something on my screen, wish the face was sharper. and the guy with the sunglasses behind the butcher's shoulder is distracting me. Still, 8, nice shot
