The only dog that would consistantly sit and stay is my rotti. The little honey brown pup is a dog that my wife and I are fostering and she is only 5 months old so her attention span is still that of a pup. The mostly white girl is my little disc dog who is doing very well with freestyle disc tricks her basic obedience skills are lacking. Lastly the handsome fellow on the right is another foster dog. He was in the care of a trainer until about 6 months old when he got his CGC and his new fosters havent worked with him much on basic obedience either so he wasnt too interested in sitting still. I had another foster dog visit that day as well but with 5 of them they were all just to interested in playing.

There are a lot of things I could have done to improve this image but if anyone has tried to work with dogs, let alone 4 of them, knows that it can get pretty busy "on set" if you will and I had to take what I could get.

Everytime I shoot the dogs I learn a little more about ways to improve so I hope each efort will be an improvement over the last.

This just makes me laugh and laugh :P All those hungry stares... this is a great family portrait. Perfect lighting, great poses, and the expressions are priceless.

I'm impressed. Getting one to sit, stay, and "smile" is hard enough, four is just impressive.

Great capture, how you got the puppy to stay put for the image I will never know.

Wow, 4 dogs all at attention at the same time. Nice job catching that moment. Speaking of catching the moment...a little editing on the peek-a-boo on doggie #4 would be appropriate.

You are truly a master to be able to get all of these guys to sit and pose nicely for you like this. Cute photo!

This is so awesome. You must have been holding a steak up there or something. That looks like more than just cookie interest :) Beautifully done!!

Great Family shot! I would have moved the darker dogs on the left to the lighter side of the back drop on the right, but if you got them lined up at all you're doing a lot right as it is!

You did well to get them all still and looking in the same direction. The backdrop competes a little too much in my opinion, especially with the four dogs. I realize very difficult, but for 'balance', on of the 'white' ones on the left of the Rottweiler would perhaps have balanced the image. Like to have seen this at 720, or at least 640. A few 'minor' issues, but I appreciate how difficult this is 'as is'.

Yes, only a treat could hold that many dogs' attention! Well done!

Great job of getting them to pose like that. Lighting looks a bit flat, though, and b/g may be too dark/busy, especially for the Rottie. If one of the white dogs were on each side, I think this might have better balance. Sorry, not to nitpick, I just see so much potential here and had a couple ideas.

Wow; *4* at once! Good for you for taking such a difficult shot. The dogs look great and incredibly attentive. I have to say I wish you had used a solid background, though. That one's busyness really competes with the dogs for my attention.

i think the 'splotchy' backdrop hides the two on the left. (or maybe the bigger dogs are hidding the little guy) But this backdrop certainly isn't helping the rott.
