36 Nickels & 9 Quarters (Quarters are on the back row) for the "Bean Counters" in the crowd! :) I know one of the nickels is crooked and that will probably hurt me, but after close to a hundred shots, I was ready to move on.

And you've wasted a lot of money on this! ;)

Just kidding. Nice idea and set up, but I'd like to have got the feeling that the coins were infinite, so shooting further in to the mass would have achieved that.

great composition. can't imagine how you set that up. i'm a bit confused/distracted by what looks like bright reflections across the image, though.

This is amazing. How long was your setup on this. If there is no trick photography involved here then this is one incredible image. I don't know whether to give you photography skill points or dexterity points. Very nice.

brilliant shot. everything works in this shot, the triangular composition, the reflections, the focal point and the desaturation. A high finisher for sure.

You know.....there are very few people on this PLANET that have the patience required to set this up. I cnosider myself as having allot of patience but just looking at this gives me anxiety. I commend you. Oh yeah....nice shot too.

Do you know, 5. coin in the 1. row is not very correctly?
03/18/2004 08:45:20 PM
Very cool idea, but sorry to nitpick...the fifth quarter from the left is titled a bit! I know this probably took a long time but it's kind of distracting.

excellent - like the interpretation a lot, but te ghostly reflections seem a little strange - 8

This shot is very well taken, I know you put a lot of time into this! This is my WINNER! 10.....There is one off, but it doesn't distract from the whole picture! Nice job!

GOOD STAND....

I like this one! I give a 7. Would've been an 8 if the coins had been more aligned(especially the fifth one in the front row) and surely a 10 if the heads had all been upright the same.

Looks like someone has way too much time on their hands.... Nice shot

A very cool idea. You should have added some colour in there on the background or changed the lighting or something. It looks flat. A mirror may have been really cool

That is awesome.
The B&W you chose is wonderful, and I love how almost all the heads on the coins are right-side-up. Great attention to detail.

I think this one's gonna win :)
