Yes, I'm also surprised it didn't ribbon. Sensational lighting, Jorge. The model is pretty sensational too. ;-)

is that you jorge? or would you need a bigger tie, like the scene from borat? :)

Jorge, I much prefer this to the original :-). Nice lighting, and nice tie. The scissors look a little meager for the job, though, LOL.

When I saw this picture I had a feeling it was you.
Good work.
You have mastered "lighting" portraits.

I've gotta be more careful about what comes up on my screen at work...

For some reason, I tried to open the card to read the punchline. There is alot going on in this picture, none of it is working together. The hand holding the scissors...fantastic angles. The face...too intense for the funny. The tie...as a subject unto itself, very well captured. To be perfectly honest, my eyes go directly to the stomach.

Hilarious! Excellent lighting. Should certainly ribbon or at least top ten. Congrats.

Well, a marked improvement on the original. If I were being picky I'd say that I'd have preferred the model to be female here so as to look more like the original but your composition and lighting is excellent :o)

interesting idea, very well executed, but the connection to the brown ribbon shot is quite loose
