this was taken last night during the most massive storm ... we got so much rain ..
i've been using the camera flash more and more .. i used it on this shot .. i dont have an external one ... YET !!! ..
Roz, that's a very cool photo, especially considering the onboard flash. I hope you don't get floods like they had in Queensland. Or has NSW suffered, too? Stay dry!
The top part with the plants is well done, but the bottom part with the reflections just makes the shot, especially the little bits of grass sticking up. And certainly your pp brings it all together just perfectly.
A good flash can do wonders, especially indoors and bounced off the ceiling.
This looks rainy enough, no, it looks more like a river. Wonderful atmosphere and I do like the reflections. An external flash is also on my wish list.
The flash made for a great effect, Roz. The background sky is WOW. Love that dark, drippy feel of the photo. You must have been standing in water to take this shot. I hope it's warm at least - then the wet isn't so bad.
I think the flash is what makes this shot!! The way its lighting everything up it gorgous! It's nice how everything is well lit, yet the photo as a whole is relatively dark. Love it!
(I can even see some of the storm clouds in the corner!)
