First of all I'd like to thank my model "spidey." Who is now released into the wild outdoors near the eaves of our house. He(could be a she) did an excellent job modeling for me. Then I'd like to thank the acadamy...oh sorry about that.
I was trying to think outside the box and inside the parrellel lines. Though I wasn't thinking of parrellel lines when I saw a spider creeping across the cieling. I shot a few of him on the wall, wasn't too good. Then I thought of Jacko's "Round and Round" theat won second place ribbon in the glass challenge (//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=20416). My shot is not quite as high quality, but I thought it might be different.
The parallel lines are the lines of the two wine glasses down the center of the frame, and this is important because it is where the spider is at.

Greetings from the Critique Club...

Hi Zoomdak...

I didn't find much interest in this particular photo. The colors are not brilliant enought to spark my interest. Mabye the lighting is too weak overall. I suppose it does meet the challenge, but I don't understand any relationships within the image. I couldn't determine if you had any intent with the photo other than to meet the challenge in some way and create some amount of impact with the spider.

I'm a tough cookie because I look for things in photographs that aren't always there. A theme or overall idea is one of the primary things I look for. What's the purpose? Does this photo speak to me in any way?

Good luck in future challenges :)
