This is numerous layers of textures over the original image. I think I used 3-4 additional images. I know they were mosses, lichens, and stones. I didn't allow the texture images to overlap the original image's major subjects much - I erased them when they encroached on the butterfly and the flower. One layer I did include was a "hue" layer that muted all of the original image's colors.
It's funny, but I've never been happy with the original editing/pure processing of this image - although I thought it was technically sound (it just didn't give any emotion to the shot). I'm much happier with this version. ;-)
Oy - another bug - albeit in a beautiful image. (I'm not a bug fan) Very delicate and pretty. The overlay is well chosen to enhance an already perfect image.
the textures on the butterfly and throughout your image are brilliant .. love the way your processing has changed the original colours . they are perfect .. :)
