A great dark feel to this, with great detail. I particularly like the way that your picture leads the viewer's eye from your face along your arm to the flower.

This is surreal (which I really love) and yet amazingly touching in a tangible way. The editing is perfect. The addition of light via dodging/burning is expertly achieved. And although the flower seems "digitally generated", it blends with the rest of the image beautifully. There's a lot to be learned from this image (and I hope I learn at least half of the lessons!).
You show the difference between us. I have decent Photoshop skills, but you have artistic vision to which you apply your skills. I'm really glad you're doing this side challenge, and I look forward to seeing what else you come up with!
I really enjoy everything about this image except for the flower. To me the flower just floating there and it seems rather disconnected from the rest of the image. Guess maybe I have been reading too many old Shadow comics, cause I think a hand gun sagging in the outstretched hand would have been perfection.
Elvis, dude, this is a pretty frikkin sweet sp!! I like the haloing around you... it keeps you looking very light and keeps you from dissapearing into the bg... pretty nice PP work, I enjoy the thought behind it and the flower was a great additive!!
That's awesome. Extremely creative. The highlights are great. I may have gotten rid of the hard line just above the flower... on the other hand nit-picky opinions like that irk me. All around, this is great.
