Challenge: Childhood Without Children II (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-400D Rebel XTi
Lens: Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS for Canon
Location: San Diego, CA
Date: Jan 22, 2008
Aperture: 11
ISO: 800
Shutter: 0.6
Galleries: Emotive, Children
Date Uploaded: Jan 22, 2008

Shot at 18mm using gas station overhead lights.
It was .6 second, so my exuberance was frozen for a while.
Yes, I can see the tripod in the bumper too.
Changed RAW white balance to Fluorescent
Cropped the right edge. Rotated a bit.
I would have liked to clone out the lens flare, but I couldn't in basic. Shoulda used the lens hood.
My first entry with my new Sigma lens. Hopefully I don't drop the average for the lens much!
Yes, this is me in my car. I put the flames on back in 2004 when I bought my Scion xB.

*post* I thought this would do better. I know the lighting wasn't great. Maybe it was a little too out of the box and I should have joined the swingset or stuffed animal club. Thanks for the comments. I was waiting for an opportunity to show my car off.

You are nuts. That's a plus. I can see your tripod reflected, that's a minus. 6

That is an aweful shirt but you know that already. This is actaully a fun picture but with a few flaws such as the light refraction.

Interesting take on it. I'm trying to figure out what I see in the reflection on the bumper. I see your tripod and what looks like a gas station. Those obviously make it look a bit contrived but I don't think you were trying to make it look like a real action shot.

Funny, but I really don't like the lighting or the little bit of garage door in the top left.
