Tons of JPEG compression kills an otherwise dreamlike and good shot. The artifacts are so bad that I didn't even need to look at the file size to tell. I looked to be sure though, and at 31k, saving it with a lot less compression would have vastly improved it.
Always used the lowest level of compression (resulting in the largest file and greatest detail) that will sneak in under the limit for a challenge. |

| too out of focus for me to tell anything about it. sorry. i'm sure it was purposely done, but i don't understand the significance or what i am supposed to focus on. |

| I love the idea of a dreamy, fuzzy memory shot (was it with a Lens Baby?). The subject, however, doesn't seem like something that would be that fuzzy memory. In other words, I don't think this would be an image that stands out in my mind. Maybe it would be something like Grandma's house or a favorite toy or something. Anyway, great idea, nice color, cool dreamy technique, still a cool subject and fun to look at and figure out. 8 |
