 taken at taronga park zoo in sydney a week ago ..
i called this a rosella even after googling them .. the image looked similar but not exactly right .. i couldnt remember wot bird it was from the zoo ..
fortunately jeb, mary and darlene actually recognised it as a macaw, so i renamed it .. thankyou .. :)

I love this! The fence grate gives this a cool texture and breaks up the monotony.....not like a Scarlet Macaw is monotonous.....

unnspired, but intersting, how you got the bird and the cage to be in focus is beyond me; I can either get one or the other...
