This is one of my personal top three choices for this challenge. Color, lighting and quality are all excellent. An amazing shot. Great job. |

Beautiful interior of the old church and I think silence would be in order here, beautiful colors. |

The hush is audible! This is a beautiful shot, and the empty pews and contemplative mood work really well for the challenge, though it's a bit too well lit for my slightly morbid taste. (I wonder how this would look in B&W? Maybe a bit lonelier?) |

I'm not a religious person but this image certainly helps convey how the splendour of one's surroundings can inspire one to greater intensity of worship. |

Nice use of a wide angle lens. It looks like the lighting was a little hard to expose for, there are a few spots that are blown out, and some that are underexposed. |

I had a very similar thought, but our church is simpler and not quite such a good picture. I hope you don't get killed for the religious symbolism. Lighting is great, as are the colors. Also, this is one of the places I think of as being the msot peaceful and quiet (any church, not this one specifically.) Best of luck. |

I suppose the title refers to a conversation with God? Whatever -- the picture is very good. GREAT lighting and the pews draw me into the alter in the center. Not convinced this image demonstrates "silence" but I'm also not holding that against it. Could be my own paradigm or whatever, because when I look at this picture I hear the church organ playing! anyway, nice job. I would have skewed the image to straighten out the posts. |

Good feeling of silence.
It seems to be a bit tilted... would have been nicer it if was level. |

Nice photo, and a good subject for the challenge. The symmetry is a bit off for a straight on shot though. The lighting is pretty good, but a bit more in the lower half might have better. Assuming I had the talent to come up with an idea like this (I came up with zip), I might have tried a wider angle and added a single woman sitting or kneeling in one of the pews, maybe wearing something brightly colored to make her stand out. But, then I'd probably find some other way to screw it up. |

good use of light, well executed -- to make this shot even better I suggest a level horizon and a person somewhere in the shot. |

Colors are beautiful. I'm not too fond of the composition with the aisle right in the middle. Also should have been tilted a few degrees CCW to get it straight. |
