Har har. :-)
I find the lighting a little hardh, and shadow is distracting.
Also cropped too tightly at the bottom |

A beautifully thought out picture, it really captures the fraustration we all must feel living in a world of silence and hopelessness. The stark contrast between the subject and the background is a parallel between the fight that we, as people, must undertake daily just to try and make it through our traumatic lives, this picture really touches me on many levels.. I think I am going to cry.. I have to give this a ten...
Actually, on second thoughts its a potato without a mouth.. have a three instead. marksimms |

you have a good idea going, but flash will ruin a photo every time. try this shot with a lamp set up beside it w/o the lampshade on, it's a cheap way to create diffused lighting and your image will look 110% better. |

I liked the idea behind the shot, better than seeing lots of photos of tape over people's mouths. A little extra time setting up the shot would have made for a stronger image (cut off shoe, background further away so as not to cast shadow directly behind spud, less light/more directional for more shadow and midtones on figure for improved modelling of shapes and details). Technical aspects can always be improved, it's the IDEAS that can't be taught...keep 'em comin'. :) |

Your going to have a cooked tatter with all that harsh lighting. Need to tone that down a bit. |
