So I got all excited when I saw how few entries were for this challenge and thought I would do an adorable clown self portrait since I like to face paint....and then after painting my face it felt really nasty and I felt really tired and took literally two shots and then washed my face off...honestly I think this picture is pretty awful and I am only entering it because wanjun is making me...hahaha I hope this will at least scrape out a five.

Wonderful - my only suggestion is that perhaps you could try 'selective colour - white' to bring out the whites of the eyes and stay within the Basic Rules (if you use photoshop!)
Well-lit, catchlights are dead center in the eyes. Can't decide if the flaws in the makeup add too much character to be truly "lifeless." Nice job overall.
