Wow, I've been right there! It's amazing how many Australians are turning up in this week's challenge :). Since that's the east, it must be dawn... congratulations for getting up so early!

This could use a little rotation in the counter-clockwise direction to line up that horizon. Otherwise, it has a very nice, serene mood to it.

How am I supposed to compete with this? Great shot.

too dark

Initial= great sunburst
Composition=well done.. although the horizon seems a bit slanted to me.
Clarity (focus, details)=good focus and clarity deep into the photo.
Exposure=well done.
Interesting or Emotive=sunsets are always emotive to me.. Helps me feel peaceful.

i prefer without people in, but nice sunset

a flatter horizon would make me feel more comfortable looking at this. Like the composition of the sun and person.

Very nice interpretation of challenge. Nice colors. The silhouetted person "sells" the shot for me. 6 sjgleah

very nice shot!! I love the mood here... I almost didn't see the guy standing on the right side of the frame Maybe a minor stoop down closer to the ground would have set him above the horizon a little more... I'm not sure if that would have added much impact here or not... great shot.. = 9 - setzler

I wish you could see more silouhette of the person on the right. He/She keeps pulling my focus away from the sunset/rise on the left.

A little too dark on my monitor, and it's tilted just a teeny bit too far to the right, I think. I'd like to see the person's outline just a little clearer.
