Thanks for the competition Jaime. You can see the pattern of flight which is pretty cool. Unique idea for the challenge!

guessing the first or last 7 were taken and then she stepped in for the final or first shot?

Unique Idea, but lacking a little where the focus of this photo should be.

Beautiful cloudless sky. As you might have heard before, the horizon isn't quite straight. Very crisp.

Not very interesting but meets the challenge.

Haha... looks like several giant ladybugs are attacking him.

Nice shot. Nice place. There's something too random about the scattering of kites. Doesn't give a sense of movement...

you should take this a step further and change the clothing to make the colors pop. the curiosity factor would be accentuated by also having a curious human subject.

Cool idea. I like the idea, good use of negative space.

I think if you would have had the flyer in different crazy positions rather than the kite, it would be a bit more interesting. Looks kind of like floating pop cans!

GeneralE: this is more complex than the single swing of a golfer.

ursula: yes, but it's still one lovely line of motion.

GeneralE: but it intersects itself, cuts itself in two.

ursula: but by the time it gets to itself, it's not there anymore.

GeneralE: clearly you know nothing about topology.

scalvert: the photograph incriminates itself. Clearly there is someone flying this kite. That person is using muscles, will, thought, etc. to effect the flight pattern of the kite. It's not natural.

ursula: It's the wind. The wind is natural. She's just holding it to create the proper tension to allow the wind to work on it.

scalvert: but that's an unnatural method for portraying natural phenomena.

ursula: so is pohtography.

The kite is so small the effect is really wasted. Some movement on the part of the kite flyer would strengthen this shot.

Nice take on the challenge, I like to see something different.

That is pretty cool. I bet the kite is tough to fly on really windy days! It looks like the horizon is severely crooked. Maybe just an illusion or a sloped beach, but it distracts my eyes from the kite. 6.

Cool. It almost looks like juggling.

Your series of joined photos makes visual sense. I'm not a fan of most of the time lapse shots in this challenge, but yours does work for me. 7.

The kites should be the main point of interest here, instead my eye is continually drawn to the person, could probably do with thinking a little more about how you have composed the image.

Also check the horizon is straight.
