This is a wine glass with a thin coating of rubbing alcohol, lit on fire in a dark room. The alcohol burned for 3 minutes or so, allowing me many exposures. The flame changed colors from blue to orange and back again.

I really like how the flame seems to engulf the round thing, and completely surround it. Also, you have done a good job at exposing the flames so that you don't have hot spots (no pun intended). I'm so glad this didn't count in the Great '08 debate. :P

This was a fantastic image, you did an incredible job capturing the flame in the glass. You have clarity yet an almost mystical apperance to it and I love the colour range
