Selecting a vantage point that makes the rooftops into a series of stair steps against the clear blue sky makes this different from many other pictures of the city.

The bushes in the front of the photo obscure the view more than add to the picture, in my opinion. I've been to Santorini, and this is not a representative photo of the island.

For me the foreground is too dark. The buildings and sky are great.
