 Pioneer courthouse square: This is in downtown Portland but you would think it was in the middle of nowhere judging by the number of people enjoying the square.

Your title makes a good point: people make up a city, perhaps even more than the buildings do, so this fits the challenge in an unexpected way and provokes some thought.

You must be a night owl like me. . . no way could you get such a pretty night shot in such a cool location unless it was wayyyyy late :)
