 I have hundreds of photos of this place. It covers about 25 acres and it's just a joy going there. I go at least once a month just to walk. Its like walking into a holodeck or through a time portal. This is a photo of the courthouse, and the Grocery store. I focused on the left side of the store. The sun was in and out and if I knew the sun was going under a cloud, I would of boosted the ISO here or fiddled with the exp. comp.

Lots of selective curves to bring out the buildings. The cloudy sky soaked up the sun and the black and white conversion helps keep the over exposed sky from being noticed.

Using black and white for a historic setting is a good choice. The wreath on the door, bare tree limbs, and cloud pattern make this feel like winter.

Hidden from todays mainstream I'm sure. Decent B&W maybe a little too much contrast, loosing some nice gray tones.
