One of the oldest ways we demonstrate our strengh.
I chose this as a conflict entry because the emotions could be focused to a single point within the image. Again, taking the color from the shot helped to give the image a gritty-edgy feel. a special thanks to S.J. and Paul for posing for me

This is the way I should have done it! Much better than mine. Composition is perfect. Great work. Good luck!

Very nice. Good depth of field and toning. Tattoo is a good touch. 8

Very good technically, but in this case I don't like how you've focused on the hands instead of both the hands and face(s).

it works... Focus on the hands makes it

Great composition, the crossed arms are excellent foreground material, and in the background, shallow DOF blurs but doesn't disguise the look of determination on his face. Black and white is absolutely the right choice.

Should have cropped more of the head area to make the impact more powerful.

I love it! The tatoo is a great addition. I like the mans expression and that you chose a black and white format.

I like the use of limited depth in this print, and the tattoo on the arm is a real bonus 8

The guy in the background looks like Juan Sebastian Veron! (Argentinian soccer player)

Quite a few people seem to have similar ideas... but yours has a quality all its own. I think you captured the mood very well...your model's expression is perfect. I also like that the one model's tatoo actually balances the photo. I even like that one of the model's fingers is a bit dirty...just perfect! Your use of DOF is dead on for this image. Good luck!
