| Heh, definitely got marked down for the religious aspect - all those 1s, 2s, and 3s. But I think the overall score is a fair one; as people said, the background was a bit distracting. Anyway, great image, and one of my top picks for the challenge - thank you for sharing it with us. |

| Quite an emotive shot here. I imagine a wide range of comments & opinions are showing up on this one. Subject-wise it fits the challenge just fine for me. Photographically, the DOF works and it's well focused. The bg seam is a distraction that may have been eliminated with a seamless bg or a slight adjustment using curves. Nonetheless, good luck in the challenge. |

| very dramatic image - you will likely get a great deal of harsh opinions for your choice of theme - but I will not be in that group - I think it is an excellent shot and fits the theme very well. |

I think all you would have needed to make this any better would be to smooth out the BG so you can't see the line and add some blood to the stake.

| I understand your message here; however, the picture implies sacrifice and pain to me rather than Heaven. The Ascension, in my opinion, would have made a better subject than the crucifixion. |

| interesting interpretation. on a purely technical note, i think i would have preferred this in black and white; the colours are a little distracting from the forms. |

| i love the concept, i think a little more thought could have been put into your background. The plain white, which rendered a little green doesn't do it for me. |

| yep, this is heaven for us :) nice idea. SHot niceley, but somehow something is missin.. maybe more DOF and a different color of background? (IMHO) |
