It's my birthday so not wanting to spend too long on DPC (tonight only of course) the idea I had for my first shot just flopped so this is a last minuet attempt at something slightly relevent.

Not the best shot - but I like to get one in for interests sake ;)

Nice idea and beautiful shot, very well done. Great contrasts.

nice, different but nice
03/02/2004 01:41:02 PM
Lovely!

Brilliant, clean shot. Perfectly detailed. 8

Very nice! (10) fsieradzki

A sad display at playing with cyan, yellow, magenta sorry.
02/28/2004 03:51:58 PM
Very original. Like the slow action. Great setup.
02/28/2004 02:30:32 PM
Beautiful shot- worth framing, but you're taste is you own undoing here. I think these colors work quite nicely together, so the Conflict is weak. Maybe a green and red mixing to form an ugly color? Save these props for a Color challenge! ;-)

Nice clear image one of the best so far
02/27/2004 06:10:16 PM
Outstanding stock image. Not too great for the challenge though. 7

If art is a matter of taste. . . these are not conflicting colors to some! Nice shot. I wish the brush marwas not in the center of the pink though.
02/27/2004 12:50:22 PM
nice photo, but as an artist, I don't see the conflict... only the beautiful way the colors blend to make many new ones
02/27/2004 07:57:09 AM
Has to be the best shot I have seen here since another winning paint shot (Exposed challenge). Stunning, I would love to one day get just one shot as great as this. I would use the words "absolutely perfect" were it not for the smear in the pink, but that is so minor a point it isn't funny, and I can only imagine the diffivulty in getting this so great as it was. Can't see any way this isn;t the blue ribbon.

like a poster, so clear, probably lot of voters like it and half of them cant see a conflict - 9
02/27/2004 05:54:47 AM
Interesting take on subject. The sort of shot that does well on here.
02/26/2004 09:59:33 PM
Kind of a High Key type of shot.... I like it! May be considered a bit of a reach for conflict though. Decent compositon, nice color. Good job.
02/26/2004 08:16:36 PM
wow , the detail and the colors are great, the fact that you cought the yellow dripping makes this shot even better :) ... well done
02/26/2004 08:15:14 PM
Love it! Great entry to the challenge and technically well done. Heck, even the name on the can is "Focus"! 8
02/26/2004 06:32:05 PM
If the pink was red this would be an almost perfect shot. Excellent lighting, wonderful focus and I guess it meets the challenge. An 8
02/26/2004 03:34:59 PM
Really nice think this one could be a winner
Best of luck.
02/26/2004 04:06:30 AM
fantastic.. one of the best
02/26/2004 02:35:52 AM
Lovely photo......
02/26/2004 02:33:41 AM
I see the conflict...the photo is sharp....hmmm yup I like it
02/26/2004 01:21:05 AM
The leading edge of the orange spill actually looks yellow. Interesting effect.
02/26/2004 12:27:34 AM
Nice photo, but a bit of a stretch for the challenge
02/25/2004 08:57:33 PM
Very nice clear shot with great color.
02/25/2004 08:04:44 PM
Actually these colors go together quite nicely(red/blue/yellow = primarys), but I do like your take on the Challenge and I like the way you melded the colors without mixing them. Nicely photographed. 9 Good Luck

Well done studio shot, almost perfect but the pink seems to be poluted from an earlier attempt. Also, it would have been cool to have the pink meeting the yellow like the blue meets it so they all reach for the foreground.
02/25/2004 06:09:21 PM
i love all of those colors...i hope you painted a pic after the shot!
02/25/2004 05:24:14 PM
I love this one. The colours are so vivid. Plus, the details are crisp and it's wellcomposed. It's nice to see some quality in this challenge. Good luck!!
02/25/2004 04:45:21 PM
That is excellent! 10.
02/25/2004 04:27:34 PM
the best so far 10/10 focus is great - just a wee bit white on the yellow on the right hand side
02/25/2004 03:51:35 PM
Definitely a wonderful image. Not a very strong connection to the theme in my mind though.
02/25/2004 03:21:44 PM
VERY cool idea! Great colors, which definately do conflict and I especially like the brand of the pain.. focus :) Great job.
02/25/2004 02:56:19 PM
Love this photo. Excellent use of colours, fantastic focus, great lighting, and overall wonderful composition.
02/25/2004 02:15:25 PM
nice pic, but (for me) does not fit the challenge well - it doesn't say 'conflict' without an explanation. Show the pic to strangers, and say nothing. Ask "What is the first thing that comes to mind?" or even 'What is the conflict in this image?' and let me know if anyone gets it.
02/25/2004 01:37:10 PM
Neat. However, that one streak in the magenta takes away from it.
02/25/2004 08:20:11 AM
What a neat picture. I try to look for a flaw but I cant see one. Good job.
02/25/2004 05:48:27 AM
Nice composition and a very clear picture. I don't see any conflict in the colors, though.
02/25/2004 05:43:31 AM
Lovely idea, great colours. My favourite so far.
02/25/2004 01:05:23 AM
this is a great composition...very nice color...
02/25/2004 12:13:20 AM
I've been going through several pages of submissions and this is the first one that struck me. Wow!

Incredible lighting, colors... everything! Well done, I see absolutely no reason this doesn't deserve a 10. This will be a winner for sure.
