Interesting shot, nice choice of color and lighting.

A bit too dark - a curves adjustment would help bring out the subjects.

I and a lot of mates discovered that the best study results are achieved by doing exams after having a couple of beers. Really.
"What exam? O shit"
"The worst that can happen is that we fail and have to do it again"
"Shall we study these last 24 hours or have couple of beers?"
Beer it was, 2 hours before the exam. We all scored enough points to get through. :)

Beer makes the world go round.

I like the composition and the shadow. I feel that as a whole the image is too dark. 5

Image is very dark...can't really make out the book because of the shadow.

Too dark, and not an interesting composition.

Hmm I dunno, maybe a stiff drink will help you make up your mind ;-)

I like the idea, but it needs more contrast.
02/27/2004 12:55:49 PM
nope

this is the correct use of a very dark image. many seem to think that a black and white image does not have to have both black and white in it. IT DOES. thanks for knowing.

You should study because your beer isn't helping your creativity. You should have tried to mess with the lighting and your contrast to the image and really read your book because the moral philosophy hasn't helped you yet.

I like the idea, but I am slightly put-off by the book title being lost in the shadow.
02/26/2004 01:21:32 AM
This is a little murky.
02/26/2004 12:29:17 AM
good idea, but a little dark
02/25/2004 06:35:52 PM
print a little too dark
02/25/2004 06:11:03 PM
needs to a little lighter
02/25/2004 05:27:00 PM
This is another case of lighting - I can't see the book (if it is a book!)
02/25/2004 02:00:56 PM
way way way way way underecpsoed / too dark. what is that , a book? a book of what?
02/25/2004 01:36:27 PM
Maybe if I could see a bit more of the book it might be more powerful as conflict.

A bit dark. Good concept.
