I ran around outside, grabbed the only rock I could find in the dark (which turned out to be the hardest part of the setup), took today's paper and the scissors, and spread out an old navy blue sweatshirt as background.

Lighting was a desk lamp with tissue paper to soften it.

Photoshop controls were cropping, saturation, unsharp mask, levels, and maybe a little hue but I can't remember for sure.

Issues: There are two little white spots that I would rubber stamp out, but the rules prevent that. And, the three people I showed this to to check different monitors all thought that the rock looked like a muffin. Next time....

I find it astonishing that two people would have this same idea for this challenge. The topic wasn't innocent fun devices for conflict resolution after all. Wierd. 5

Nicely done. you might Have a more focused image if you did not use macro. Tells the story tough.

I like the theme, but I think its not portrayed as well as it could be. I'm not exactly sure how that would be, but I think there's a better way. As a photo, it looks pretty good.

This is a way to resolve conflict, but it doesn't show conflict IMO

Good idea though I find the handle on the scissors in the foreground a bit distracting.
