Rained today. When I went shopping after work the raindrops on the agapantha's planted outside the supermarket seemed to make them look kinda like nature's chandaliers (upside down of course, but then I am from one of the lands down under)

Overlays were cobwebs and for the border used a painted frame. Doubt if I could duplicate what I did cos I tried so many different things.

This is so sweet and delicate. I can almost smell the freshness in this one. Beautiful centered comp and framing.

Nice! I actually turned my laptop upside down to view this, and it really does look like a chandelier! :)

love the colours .. love the raindrops .. love the process .. love the canvas look ... these flowers remind me of my mum who used to have them in her garden .. i took a few and put them in my 'garden' a few years ago and we put them in pots on the weekend .. my mum used to paint them along with a whole heap of other flowers .. she painted roses beautifully .. used oils .. was very talented .. she lost her sight towards the end of her life .. it was a very difficult thing for her ... she was very old so i think her priorities changed which would'v made it easier in some ways .. anyway .. this is beautiful .. love the framing .. :)
