 i photographed these bugs yesterday on the firetrail ... camera settings are for this photograph .. this is the original ..

then another photograph from the firetrail i used as a sort'v overlay after flipping horizontally and warping ..

this is the workflow ..


a funny story about these bugs ..
yesterday i was walking on the firetrail in the morning and noticed a couple of bugs, just like these ones 'going for it' .. i took photographs of course ..
in the afternoon i went for another walk, with tegan this time, and passed the same bush where i'd seen the bugs in action 10 hours before .. i told her about the bugs and showed her the bush where i'd seen them in the morning .. we saw the same bugs on the same bush on the same flower still doing it .. OMG .. talk about staying power .. lol .. !!!!
anyway i'm hoping this innocent little story doesnt offend anyone .. that's not my intention at all .. i'm hoping that ppl might get a bit'v a laugh ..
i did !!

i considered putting one of the photographs of these bugs in the free study, but was told by a family member that i'd be crucified, that a lot of ppl would take exception .. i couldnt believe it .. but stranger things have happened ..

these are a couple of other photographs of the same bugs processed differently ..
