Very good lighting effect and I like the toning. I know it's difficult without editing but this would be improved withought the hotspots (mainly the one on the arm and the one showing through the back left of the chair). Also, compositionally, I think it might have been better to be on the right side of the frame, since the chair is facing left. Still overall, you've achieved the goal of making something mundane extraordinary!

Very nice work with the painting with light concept. This definitely 'shines an interesting light' on a mundane subject :)

Like the tone and softness of the subject. Not crazy about the huge dark vignette surrouding the chair on the uneveness of the area directly around the chair. Still very nice overall.

Overly post-procesed. Would be better as softer tones, sepia? Cropped closer to chair.

I think it would have looked better if you had painted some light underneath the seat, looks like just a big dark spot there

Love how you've made an ordinary rocker into something almost spooky! Great work with the lighting.

I wish there was a bit more light underneath the chair. The rest looks great.

Wow, what incredible lighting... it gives a plain old rocking chair an incredibly eerie feeling. What exactly did you use for lighting? Definately one of the week's best.

Good shot. Interesting indigo tones. This looks like it would have really done well in the "Paining with light" challenge as well.

Supernatural lighting, i like it! I would have tried moving the chair doen about 5%, though... the picture feels top heavy to me.

Painting with light style! It appears that you were not real even with your moving of the light around. THis would explain some of the more (or less) lit areas. Great job none the less! One thing I would think about if you attempt re-shoots... I think the chair would look like it fits better in the frame if it was pointed into the frame rather than out of it.
