I like that you submited an original photograph. Improving the DOF, getting more in focus should help. Right now I think that only the nose is in focus, it would be better if the face was in focus.

Interesting texture, nice DOF.

Face seems to be a bit out of focus. The cropping at bottom gives some kind of uncomfortable feel to the entire picture. Overall a catchy picture.

Lots of caracter in that sculpture. Interesting DOF.

Great picture, but it doesn't speak texture to me. 5

Good use of dof in this case. I'm not sure what the original color was but I think I'd like to see some (desaturated perhaps) to give this some life.

Ah, the tip of a nose. Pushing the focus back to the eye-plane, which would also allow us to see more detail in the curve of stone on the cheek-bone areas, would make this more punchy i think: probably you could even kep the dof as shallow, letting the protrusion of the nose drift out of focus, and have quite a good shot - the placing os the nose in frame is so weak that I don't think it would register as a focus problem.

too soft for me

I took a shot just like this a while ago - didn't think of re shooting it.

Very nice.

This is so creepy - is this real or just a statue?

I can see the attempt for the texture here, but I think the soft focus hurts that presentation.
