Great shot, nice composition and interesting texture of the sand.

Would love to see this composition redone in B&W. Currently not enough contrast to bring out the excellent composition. Tweaking contrast would really make the great shapes of the sand pop out. "7"

I think placing the greenery higher (showing more sand) would have been more effective.

I like the simplicity of this.

i like the texture of the sand...

superb location and great eye for a good shot. Only minus is that it appears flat, not much highlights or contrast going on.

Appears cool to me.

I would have done some levels adjustements and played with some black and white options on this. It's a beautiful image with great lines and texture that I think could look better with a little bit of post-processing. Also, the bushes seem a bit blurry. Perhaps this was due to wind and a short shutter speed. Or perhaps it was exactly the effect you were looking for. I think I would prefer them to be more sharply focused, crisp to contrast with the softness of the sand.

Really like your sand stripes and the overall composition. The natural lighting didn't cooperate with you on this day as it's flat. An angled light would have given the strips more punch and accented the trees (a nice compositional element as is the sky)

Great shot, cool place. Might be better on a clear day with a clue sky, but this is still real good.

Wish the trees were sharper. You captured the pattern in the dunes very well.

A bit more saturated maybe?

Good work - a first thought was that this was too muted in its contrast, but I don't know now whether that's really the case. next though was that it was a desert shot - that those were trees, and it maintains that sense of scale even after the realisation that they're perhaps more properly termed shrubs. Great use of the lines in the dune and the lines in the sky to emphasise the composition.

I see the texture, but the subject and composition just don't hold my interest.

I've seen this aspect of the desert and know it can be tricky to capture. You've done it well with nicely developed textures of the sand. Good! 7

I would have cropped it more verticle and brought the horizon down, so there was more sky (rule of thrids).

Great Shot! I know the rules are "basic editing" for this challenge. The only thing I would have liked to see is more contrast between the sand and the brush. Good luck.

Really a pretty shot....very nice shooting. Maybe not cut off the shadow on the right.

Just a little too dull for me, the sand presents a GREAT texture subject, but lacking contrast with the rest of the photo..5

To far away to really portray texture. A far shot like this say "patterns" to me not texture although I know there is texture. If I make any sense at all!

It raises "smooth feelings"... can't explain! All the best!
