 Some fooling with curves to achieve a semi-acid effect. I put the curves layer into soft-light and got a nicer blue cast. Overlaid with some texture from the roof of an abandoned gas station .

Strong composition. I like the muted tones as well. The lighting seems a tad off to me, but otherwise I think it's a complimentary combo.
