 This is my daughter Nimue she 7 and I actually took this at her gym class. Many of the slice of lifers will recognise this as one I posted in Oct. At that time I did'nt really edit it as I though it was interesting within itself beacise of the blur. Here's the original



I thought this would be fun to edit as if she is swimmimg through water instead of flying thru the air,kind of like a mermaid :)
Used this texture which I got from a site which I ma pretty sure I posted in the texture resources thread

and this texture from suemack
blending mode vivid light

I also erased on each layer to keep her showing through

Love that motion blur! : ) I think this is an excellent example of using textures to enhance a great shot! Nice one! : )

This is really amazing... Stunning work - I love it. The almost abstract quality and almost surreal quality of this image and its blur make for a wonderful combo. Beautiful.

What a beautiful image! I love the colors here in the green-blue overlay, and they lend themselves nicely to this image. The overlays seem to allow the background to become more lively, matching the beautiful image of your daughter.
