 This is a portrait of me taken in an emergency drain for the bow river in Calgary, it was mostly dry. Overlay is a rusted pattern on concrete wall.

The pattern of the overlay - especially the "L" shaped lines - really add to the feeling of being cornered here. Excellent choice and editing.

LoL, what? you mean you DON'T hang out in drainage pipes? weirdo.
I was only about 10 feet in so it wasn't that bad, but it was kinda tight, seeing as I'm 6'3'' and weigh 230lbs

Like the framing the overlay adds to the image. The texture plays off the rusty bits of the drain pipe so well!

Your overlay makes it look almost like you're drowning in that drain. For a drowning person, you look pretty confident :)
