nice layout, bottom seems to be a little tightly cropped, good purple color, perhaps a black background would have been good. |

I like the composition, it's a shame you used the flash.

Nice texture in the tulips. Perhaps a slightly lower number on the f stop would have produced a stronger contrast, but the freshness is certainly nice. Sure does meet the challenge. |

Very harsh lighting, and little chance for the texture of the subjects to shine through. Good detail and colour however. |

I thought these were boring 'til I opened the image - Wow! They're really lovely and a very nice capture. The texture of the petals is much more apparent than I would have guessed! |

+ The tulips sure have texture and this photo could have been interesting,
- but by choosing a poor POV, using this composition and the flash I don't think this photo is appealing at all at the moment. |

Nice color and focus to highlight the texture. Would like the see some backlighting to get rid of or lighten that harsh shadow. |

Pretty tulips. Yipie..Spring must be coming. :) Your light is way too bright. Tone it down with some tissue paper, wax paper, bag. Experiment till you find something that will diffuse the light for you. Good luck in the challenge, hope you do well. |

I like the composition on this - I wonder if you use natural light as your source of light instead of the flash? Good Luck! |

This would have been great if not for the harsh lighting. |

Very nice. Colors are great and texture really comes through. Think I'd have had blooms up instead of down and highlights are a bit too strong, but still very nice. |

Beautifully sharp image which shows the smoothness of the tulips to perfection.
